Pokémon Happy Meal with Limited Cards

Happy Meal “Pokemon” will be on sale for a limited time from August 8th

Pokémon will be appearing in McDonald’s Happy Meals from August 8th.

The Pokémon Happy Meal lineup features nine toys based on popular Pokémon like Pikachu and Eevee, as well as Pokémon that have undergone Mega Evolution, such as Mega Lucario and Mega Charizard X, which appear in the new game Pokémon LEGENDS Z-A, which will be released on October 16th. Different toys will be given away during the first period, from August 8th to 14th, and the second period, from August 15th to 21st, with a “secret toy” being introduced from the second period. Starting from August 22nd, during the third period, customers will be given one of the nine toys that appeared in the first and second periods.

Additionally, for three days from August 9th to 11th, a limited-edition set of two Pokémon cards will be given away with every purchase of a “Pokémon” Happy Meal. Each set includes one original Pikachu illustration and one random card from five types: Pikachu, Meowth, Swinub, Quack, Ralts, or Riolu. *As supplies are limited, this offer will end while supplies last. *For the three days from August 9th to 11th, each person can purchase up to five sets. *Toy and Pokémon card types cannot be selected. Even if you purchase five sets, you may not receive all types of toys and cards. *Cards with the same text as “Pikachu” cards included in existing Pokémon card games. *Distribution may be canceled at short notice. *The same Pokémon cards may be distributed in a different way in the future. *Please refrain from purchasing for resale or other commercial purposes. We also ask that you refrain from ordering more than you can eat.

The toys included in the “Pokémon” Happy Meal are as follows:

■First Period: August 8–14

▽”Pikachu’s Tail-Wagging Dash” is a hand-rolling toy. It has a roller, and the tail moves back and forth to propel the toy forward.

▽ “Charmander Spinner” Attach Charmander to the base and spin it by hand, and it will spin like a top. You can also remove Charmander from the base and play pretend games.

“Mega Lucario’s Pop-Up Battle Disc Launcher” is a toy that involves shooting discs at the included card with a monster ball on it. Place the disc on the base and press the button on the back of the base to launch the disc.

■Third period: From August 22nd onwards, you will receive one of the nine toys that appeared in the first and second periods. *If the item is out of stock, you may be given a toy that was previously sold. *It will be a surprise as to which toy you will receive.
