The second season of the TV anime “Marriage Ring Story,” “Marriage Ring Story II,” is scheduled to begin airing on October 4th. It has been revealed that the opening theme will be performed by “Sizuk” and the ending theme will be performed by Akari Kito. The key visual has also been released.

Based on the popular fantasy manga by Meibee, serialized in “Big Gangan” (Square Enix) from 2014 to 2024, the series has 15 volumes and has sold over 1.6 million copies (including e-books). Haruto Sato (nicknamed “Sato” / voiced by Gen Sato), an ordinary high school boy, follows his childhood friend Hime (Kito) to a parallel world where he embarks on an adventure to become the legendary “Ring King,” a hero who must defeat the threat of the Abyss King (Tomoaki Maeno). However, in order for Satou to become the Ring King, he must marry five princesses and draw out the power of the rings they each possess. The first season of the TV anime, “The Wedding Ring Story,” aired for a total of 12 episodes from January to March 2024. In the second season, “The Wedding Ring Story II,” Satou and his companions, who were defeated in the final battle against the Abyss King, aim for a rematch and, in order to gain even more power, begin their bride training with Hime’s younger sister, Morion (Miyu Tomita).

This series will be broadcast in two versions: the “regular version” and the uncensored “fully visible version.” The fully visible version will air on AT-X from 9:30 PM on October 4th, and the regular version will air on TOKYO MX and BS11 from 10 PM, and on Sun TV from 10:30 PM. The regular version will be broadcast simultaneously on terrestrial TV and streamed at the fastest speed in Japan from 10 PM on October 4th on ABEMA, U-NEXT, and Animehodai, while the full-view version will be exclusively streamed on ABEMA Premium and U-NEXT from 10 PM on October 11th. Additionally, from August 29th, ABEMA Premium and U-NEXT will also be streaming all episodes of the full-view version of the first season simultaneously.

Shunryu’s music project, “Sizuk,” will perform the opening theme song for Season 2, “Daybreak,” following on from “Lover’s Eye” for Season 1. The CD will be released on October 5th. The ending theme, sung by Kito, who plays the main heroine Hime, will be titled “any if.” The audio will be available online on October 5th, with the CD released on October 15th.

The key visual for Season 2 features the main characters. The illustration foreshadows the final battle in which Sato and the five princesses once again challenge the Abyss King, putting the fate of the world on the line.

The full comment from the theme song artist is below.

[Sizuk (Opening Theme)]

The song, lyrics, sound, and lyrics are not about waiting for dawn to come, but about forging through difficulties to touch the dawn for yourself and the world. I wanted to fight just like Satou, Hime, and all the other beings that appear in the story. As we enter Season II, which depicts the dark abyss and the desire for a bright future, I aimed for an opening song that would inspire the listener. I would be grateful if you would listen to it when it’s time for a showdown! (Shunryu)

[Kitou Akari (Ending Theme)]

I’m Akari Kito, and I’ll be singing the theme song for the TV anime “Kekkon Ring Monogatari II”! I’m incredibly honored to be able to color the world of Kekkon Ring Monogatari, both as a character voice and as an artist. This song is themed around marriage and expresses love and life in a grand way. It’s a truly wonderful song, and I had a lot of fun singing it. I hope you enjoy it along with the anime.
