“Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX” follows Amate Yuzuriha, a high school girl living peacefully in a space colony, whose life changes dramatically after she meets Nyaan, a war refugee. Drawn into the underground mobile suit dueling competition known as the “Clan Battle,” Amate finds herself caught in a conflict far beyond her imagination.

Under the entry name “Machu,” Amate pilots the GQuuuuuuX and throws herself into intense battles day after day. One day, a mysterious Gundam mobile suit—hunted by both the space military and the police—and its young pilot, Shuuji, appear before her. Their arrival signals the dawn of a new era, changing the course of her world forever.

This latest Gundam series is a collaborative production between Studio Khara, known for the Evangelion series, and Sunrise, the iconic studio behind the Gundam franchise.

The film is directed by Kazuya Tsurumaki, known for helming the 2021 release in the Evangelion: New Theatrical Edition series. Series composition is handled by Yoji Enokido, with mechanical design by Ikuto Yamashita—bringing together a star-studded creative team. The lead role of Amate Yuzuriha (Machu) is voiced by Tomoyo Kurosawa, with Yui Ishikawa as Nyaan and Shimba Tsuchiya as Shuuji Ito.
