Additional Cast Announced!

It has been revealed that Yuichiro Umehara, Jun Fukuyama, Reiji Kawashima, and Kouki Uchiyama will appear in the TV anime “To You in Full Bloom.” The main staff has also been announced.
The cast for the first episode was announced during the special program “Hana-Kimi Special ~Namba-senpai and Umeda-sensei will be appearing~” which was streamed on August 24th. In addition to the already announced main cast of Yamane Aya (Ashiya Mizuki), Yashiro Taku (Sano Izumi), and Toya Kikunosuke (Nakatsu Shuichi), it was revealed that Umehara will play Namba Minami, the school’s number one playboy, Fukuyama will play Umeda Hokuto, the sharp-tongued second school nurse, Kawashima will play Chuo Chisato, a beautiful boy who views Mizuki as a rival, Uchiyama will play Kayashima Daiki, Nakatsu’s roommate who can see auras, Komada Wataru will play Sekime Kyogo, Furuya Anna will play Noe Shinji, Nishiyama Kotaro will play Nihonbashi Wataru, and Natsuyoshi Yuko will play Julia Maxwell.

The main staff includes director Natsuki Takemura, assistant director Shigeru Ueda, series composition by Takao Yoshioka, character design by Shiyi Su, music by Masaru Yokoyama, and sound direction by Jin Aketagawa. The animation was produced by Signal MD.
The original manga “To You in Full Bloom” was serialized in the shojo manga magazine “Hana to Yume” (published by Hakusensha) by Hisaya Nakajo from issue 20 in 1996 to issue 18 in 2004. The series has sold over 17 million copies. The protagonist, Mizuki Ashiya (voiced by Yamane), transfers to an all-boys boarding school to meet Izumi Sano (voiced by Yashiro), a high jump athlete he idolized in middle school, and lives his school life while disguised as a male student. The live-action drama “To You in Full Bloom: Handsome Paradise,” which aired on Fuji TV, also gained popularity and has been adapted into a drama series across Asia.
