The TV anime Arknights [RISE FROM EMBER] is set to premiere on July 4th. Along with this announcement, the theme songs, official promotional video, and key visual have been released.
This third season continues the adaptation of the popular mobile game Arknights, developed by Yostar and downloaded over 10 million times worldwide (excluding the Chinese version, as of February 2021). Set in the war-torn world of Terra, where the incurable disease “Oripathy” is spreading, the story follows the battles of the pharmaceutical company Rhodes Island, which has taken up arms to save those suffering.
The first season, Arknights [PRELUDE TO DAWN], aired in 2022, followed by the second season, Arknights [PERISH IN FROST], in 2023.
The broadcast schedule begins July 4th at 11:30 p.m. on TOKYO MX, midnight on KBS Kyoto, 12:30 a.m. on Sun TV, and July 6th at 11:30 p.m. on BS11. It will also air on Animax (details to be announced).
The opening theme is “End of Days” by ReoNa, who previously performed “Alive” and “R.I.P.” for the first and second seasons, respectively. The ending theme, “Truth,” is sung by singer-songwriter Itoki Hana.
The newly released PV opens with a line from Amiya (voiced by Tomoyo Kurosawa): “Please allow me to see the truth of Talulah.” The first half focuses on Talulah’s past, accompanied by the song “Truth,” while the second half, set to “End of Days,” highlights intense battle scenes and deep character emotions. It ends with Amiya standing in the flames, wielding her dark sword.
The key visual features Amiya in a determined pose, flanked by Ch’en (voiced by Shizuka Ishigami) and Talulah in flames. Watching from the shadows is Patriot (Banjo Ginga), the foster father of Frostnova (Ayahi Takagaki), who clashed with Amiya and her allies in season two.
