It has been announced that the new version of the cartoon animation “Panty&Stocking with Garterbelt” (abbreviated as “Panty Stocking”), which was broadcast in 2010, “New PANTY & STOCKING with GARTERBELT”, will be broadcast and distributed from July 9th. The censored version will be broadcast on terrestrial TV, the original version on AT-X, and the original and censored versions will be distributed on various distribution sites (the content varies depending on the service).
The key visual and main PV have also been released. With the addition of new characters Polyester and Polyurethane, the world of the work is more lively than the previous work.

In addition, AT-X will rebroadcast the previous work “Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt” from midnight on July 6th, just before the broadcast of the new work “New PANTY & STOCKING with GARTERBELT”. The repeat broadcast will be from 10:30 am to 4 pm on July 13th.
“Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt” is an original anime produced by GAINAX and broadcast in 2010. Set in Daten City, a city between demons, the story depicts two dropout angels, Panty and Stocking, fighting to collect coins obtained by defeating ghosts. TRIGGER’s Imaishi Hiroyuki (director), Otsuka Masahiko (assistant director), and Yoshinari You (concept art) have produced this work at GAINAX, and TRIGGER has acquired the original rights from GAINAX to produce the new work “New PANTY & STOCKING with GARTERBELT” as a new project.
In addition to Director Imaishi, “New PANTY & STOCKING with GARTERBELT” will feature original character design by Nishigori Atsushi, series composition by Imaishi and Wakabayashi Hiromi, character design by Koyama Shigeto, Sushio, and Sakamoto Masaru, with Yoshinari You participating as a special specialist. The cast will continue to include Ogasawara Arisa as Panty and Ise Mariya as Stocking.
