The official X account for the TV anime “Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuX” has been updated with newly revealed character costume designs.

X showcased the costumes of Exabe Olive and Sharia Bull, who appeared in Episode 3. Online reactions included comments like “So cool! The green guy,” “I want to be a man who looks good in clothes like that,” “He’s just cool lol,” “If you look closely, he’s just draping his coat over his shoulders,” and “Such a cool, handsome man.”

“Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX” follows Amate Yuzuriha, a high school girl living a peaceful life in a space colony, who meets Nyaan, a war refugee, and becomes entangled in the illegal mobile suit dueling competition known as the “Clan Battle.”

Using the entry name “Machu,” Amate pilots the GQuuuuuuX and dives into fierce battles day after day. One day, an unidentified mobile suit called Gundam — pursued by both the space army and the police — appears before her, along with its pilot, a boy named Shuuji. Their encounter sets the stage for a new era.

This new Gundam series is a collaboration between Studio Khara, the creators of “Evangelion,” and Sunrise, the studio behind the Gundam franchise.

The series is directed by Kazuya Tsurumaki, known for “Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time.” The script is overseen by Yoji Enokido, with mechanical design by Ikuto Yamashita, bringing together a star-studded creative team. Tomoyo Kurosawa voices the protagonist, Amate Yuzuriha (Machu), with Yui Ishikawa as Nyaan and Shimba Tsuchiya as Shuuji Ito.
