Isekai Quartet Season 3 Adds Shadow

The production of the third season of the TV anime “Isekai Quartet,” a crossover of multiple other-worldly anime, “Isekai Quartet 3,” has been decided, and it has been revealed that “I Want to Become the Lord of the Shadows!” will also be joining the series. The staff and teaser visuals for the third season have also been released.

The “Isekai Quartet” series is a crossover project in which characters from “Overlord,” “KonoSuba: God’s Blessing on this Wonderful World,” “Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World-,” ”The Saga of Tanya the Evil,” and “The Rising of the Shield Hero” appear together as “petit characters.” From the third season, Shido Kagenou/Shadow (CV: Seiichiro Yamashita) from “I Want to Become the Lord of the Shadows!” will also join, and a total of over 70 characters will come together to live an eventful school life. The first season of the TV anime was broadcast in 2019, the second in 2020, and the movie version of “Isekai Quartet: Anata no Wa” was released in 2022.

The staff includes familiar faces from the “Isekai Quartet” series. Under the direction of Minoru Ashina, Ashina is also in charge of the script, character design and general animation director is Minoru Takehara, and music is by Ruka Kawada. Animation production is also handled by Studio PuYUKAI.

The third season teaser visual, which has the theme of “It’s a “Petit” Singing,” features Ainz from “Overlord,” Kazuma from “KonoSuba: God’s Blessing on this Wonderful World!”, Tanya from “The Saga of Tanya the Evil,” and Naofumi Iwatani from “The Rising of the Shield Hero” holding microphones, and behind them, Cid Kagenou/Shadow from “I Want to Become the Rising of the Shield Hero!” playing the piano.

I am Kaito Ishikawa, who will continue to play the Shield Hero, Iwatani Naofumi. In the previous episodes of Isekai Quartet, Naofumi was honestly quite difficult to get along with, but I am looking forward to seeing everyone again in this world. Seeing everyone, each carrying a heavy burden in their own world, spending time together in harmony, and seeing Naofumi gradually open up, I felt a sense of nostalgia as I was reminded of the story of The Rising of the Shield Hero so far. I am looking forward to seeing even more mayhem in the third season!

I am Yamashita Seiichiro, and I will be joining Isekai Quartet from “I Want to Become the Powerful in the Shadows!” I felt this even during the recording, but I was excited to see such a big piece of content brought to you by such a distinguished cast. Yamashita’s comments are ridiculously serious, but the character he plays, Cid, is a man with too much freedom. I’m looking forward to seeing how he will perform in the world of Isekai Quartet! I look forward to working with him in the future!

The dream-like anime “Isekai Quartet” is set in a school with characters from completely different alternate worlds! I’ve heard that the production is difficult, so I’m surprised and very happy!
