The light novel “I Was Kicked Out of the Hero’s Party Because They Said ‘I Don’t Think Someone Like You Can Defeat the Demon King,’ So I Want to Live Freely in the Royal Capital” is getting a TV anime adaptation.

The protagonist of this story is a girl named Flam Apricot, who possesses no combat abilities except for one unique power: “Inversion.” Rejected by her adventuring party and sold to a slave trader, Flam endures harsh treatment—until the moment she lays her hands on a cursed greatsword. From then on, her life begins to change dramatically thanks to her ability.
The original light novel and manga are currently published by Micro Magazine.

I’ve made it this far thanks to everyone who supported the web version, the book version, and the manga. Thank you so much! It feels like a dream that a story packed with my personal interests was turned into a novel with illustrations by Kinta-sensei and kodamazon-sensei, adapted into a manga by Minakata-sensei, and now even into an anime.
As readers might expect, this series includes some intense developments—scenes I honestly thought would be hard to adapt into anime. But the staff did their absolute best, and the result is a beautiful work filled with yuri, action, and much more. I hope both longtime fans and new viewers will enjoy the anime adaptation of Omagoto!
