The production of the first season of the TV anime Idolish Seven, first announced in January, has officially been titled Idolish Seven First BEAT! Theatrical Compilation. It will be released in two parts across theaters nationwide, with Part 1 premiering on October 3 and Part 2 on December 5. Along with this announcement, the official trailer and key visual for Part 1 have also been unveiled.

Idolish Seven is a multimedia project that began with a mobile rhythm game in 2015 and has since expanded into live concerts, stage performances, and anime adaptations. The story follows seven male idols—such as Iori Izumi (voiced by Toshiki Masuda)—who are brought together by the Takanashi Agency to form the group “IDOLiSH7” as they aim for success in the competitive and dazzling idol industry. The TV anime premiered in 2018, followed by the second season Idolish Seven Second BEAT! in 2020, and the third season Idolish Seven Third BEAT! airing from 2021 to 2023. A fourth season has also been officially announced.

The first season has been re-edited into Idolish7 First BEAT! Theatrical Compilation, produced in celebration of the franchise’s 10th anniversary. The film depicts the journey of IDOLiSH7 and the popular three-member idol group TRIGGER from Yaotome Agency, as they each face their own challenges and grow through encounters and hardships on their path to stardom.

The trailer features scenes with members of both IDOLiSH7 and TRIGGER. As IDOLiSH7’s song “MONSTER GENERATiON” plays, the footage captures the idols as they face challenges in pursuit of their dreams. The key visual shows all seven members of IDOLiSH7 standing on the stage of an open-air concert venue, ready to shine.
