Dandadan Season 2: New Cast & Screening

It has been announced that Yoshino Hiroyuki and Ozora Naomi will appear as additional cast members in the TV anime “Dandadan (Season 2)” which will start in July.

Yoshino plays Manjiro, the head priest of a shrine that enshrines the Tsuchinoko, and Ozora plays Chiquitita, the son of Dover Demon, also known as the Shako Alien.

The film is based on a manga by Tatsuyuki Shinobu currently being serialized in “Shonen Jump+” (published by Shueisha). Momo, a high school girl born into a family of spiritualists, and her classmate Okarun, an occult enthusiast, encounter a supernatural phenomenon and acquire mysterious powers to face various supernatural phenomena. The first season of the TV anime aired from October to December 2024.

It has also been decided that an advance screening will be held at United Cinema Toyosu in Tokyo on June 29th. In addition to screening episodes 13 to 15 from the first season of the TV anime, there will also be a talk by Shion Wakayama (voice of Momo), Natsuki Hanae (voice of Okarun), and Mayumi Tanaka (voice of Turbo Granny).

“Dandadan (Season 2)” will begin airing on the anime block “Super Animeism TURBO” on 28 MBS and TBS affiliated stations from 12:26 a.m. on July 3rd.
