It has been announced that the character “Nandemo Ikimono” by Yokomizo Yuri, the creator of “Sumikko Gurashi”, will be made into a one-minute short anime titled “Gekkan! Nanmono Anime”. Starting from April 30th, one episode will be released each month on the official X, Yokomizo’s Instagram, EVIL LINE RECORDS’ YouTube and TikTok, and ABEMA.
A promotional video featuring the voices of the cast has also been released.
“Nandemo Ikimono” is a world where everything is a living thing, including animals, plants, food, and objects. In the anime version, the crab is played by Izawa Shiori, the shrimp by Matsuda Hayate, seaweed rice ball by Fairouz Ai, Kojima by Shiraishi Haruka, the large satellite fish by Hikasa Yoko, the sea otter by Uchida Aya, the otter by Otani Ikue, the useless fox by Kito Akari, and the narrator and zookeeper by Okamoto Nobuhiko.
The original author Yokomizo will be the general director, Okada Erika will be the director, and animation will be produced by Respris, the studio behind “Koupen-chan”.
