The manga “Giant Ojou-sama,” currently being serialized in Shogakukan’s “Sunday Webry,” has been decided to be made into a TV anime. Tatsunoko Productions, the creators of the “KING OF PRISM” series, will be in charge of animation production.
The work is a comedy manga about a wealthy young lady, Fujidou Oriko, who grows giant to sometimes protect the city from invaders, and sometimes destroys the city and causes trouble for people. It was ranked 5th in the 6th “Manga Ranking for People Who Want to See It Made into an Anime,” announced at “AnimeJapan 2023” in March 2023.
The full comment from the original author, Nikumura Q, is as follows.
[Nikumura Q (original)] “Giant Ojou-sama” to be made into an anime!! Thanks to everyone who supported us, the young lady will be moving around this time!! I’m overwhelmed!! If you have read the original work, you must have wondered at least once, “What would happen if this scene moved in animation?” Me too!! And now that wish has come true!! I look forward to seeing the 40-meter-tall young lady’s love, action, and comedy being conveyed to even more people through Tatsunoko Productions’ animation technology, so that they can experience her giant charm. Please look forward to it! And please support us!!
