Synopsis
Only Mt. Miho in the Yatsugatake mountain range, Nagano Prefecture. When Yamato Gansuke of the Nagano Prefectural Police was chasing a “certain man” in the snowy mountains, he suddenly saw a shadow of someone. In the moment he was distracted, a rifle bullet fired by “a certain man” grazed Gansuke’s left eye, causing a huge tremor and an avalanche to occur. Gansuke was swallowed up as it was – 10 months later. Upon receiving a report that a researcher at the National Astronomical Observatory in Nobeyama had been attacked by someone, Gansuke, who miraculously survived the avalanche, and Yui Uehara rushed to the scene. In the middle of questioning, the observatory’s giant parabolic antenna started to move, and for some reason, Gansuke’s injured, one-eyed left eye suddenly began to ache violently… That night, the Mouri Detective Agency received a call from a detective called “Wani,” who was a close colleague of Kogoro’s when he was at the Metropolitan Police Department. He was investigating the avalanche accident that Gansuke was caught in at Mt. Miho, and Kogoro’s name was in the case file. Conan follows Kogoro, who promised to meet him later, but on the way to the meeting place, a gunshot suddenly rings out. A promise that was not kept and an afterimage that lingers in his one eye. In the mountains where snow and ice are blowing, the curtain of a white dark fate is raised.
