An IMAX visual drawn by ufotable was unveiled for the currently-showing “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba the Movie: Mugen Castle Arc Chapter 1: Akaza Returns.”
The anime “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba” series produced by ufotable is based on a manga by Koyoharu Gotouge. Since starting with the 2019 TV series “Tanjiro Kamado: Unwavering Resolve Arc,” the “Mugen Train Arc,” “Yukaku Arc,” “Swordsmith Village Arc,” and “Hashira Training Arc” have been produced. In the “Mugen Castle Arc,” which is depicted in a trilogy of theatrical anime, the final battle between the protagonist Tanjiro Kamado and the Demon Slayer Corps and the deformed demons led by Muzan Kibutsuji unfolds in the demons’ base, Mugen Castle.
“Chapter 1: Akaza Returns,” which was released on July 18th and was also released in IMAX format, became a mega-hit, attracting 5.16 million viewers and grossing 7.31 billion yen in the four days since its release.
