Synopsis
Being a hero is the worst punishment in the world. Those who have committed a grave sin are punished by becoming a “hero” and fighting the Demon King. Even if they are killed, they are resurrected, and even death is not permitted. Zylo Forverts, a former commander of the Holy Knights who was sentenced to the hero penalty, leads a punitive hero unit made up of personality disordered individuals and runs through the front lines of battle. In the midst of this harsh situation, Zylo meets one of the strongest biological weapons, the “Sword Goddess,” Teorita. “When you have annihilated the enemy, praise me… and pat me on the head.” In order to survive and to take revenge on those who have betrayed him… Zylo makes a contract with the “Goddess” and throws himself into the vortex of fierce battles and conspiracies in a hopeless world.
