The TV anime Re:ZERO − Starting Life in Another World Season 4 has been officially announced for broadcast in 2026. Alongside the news, the second teaser visual and a new character introduction have been revealed.
Voice actress Fairouz Ai will join the cast as Shaula, a mysterious figure known as the Star Guardian of the Pleiades Watchtower. With scorpion-like features and a cryptic nature, Shaula is one of the Three Great Heroes who once saved the world. Although referred to as “Shaula the Sage,” her true identity remains unknown, as legends describe her as a young man.
Based on the popular fantasy light novel by Tappei Nagatsuki (published by KADOKAWA), the story follows Natsuki Subaru (voiced by Yusuke Kobayashi), a boy summoned to another world who battles despair with his unique ability “Return by Death,” which lets him rewind time by dying.
Following the intense battles of Season 3’s “Attack Arc” and “Counterattack Arc,” the new season sees Subaru and his allies traveling to the Pleiades Watchtower in the Augria Sand Dunes — a perilous desert that even the Sword Saint Reinhard failed to conquer. Their goal: to save Rem, Crusch, and Julius, each trapped in a state of loss by the power of the deadly Sin Archbishops.
The new teaser visual depicts Shaula perched atop the tower, while Subaru and his friends journey through the vast desert below.

The fourth season of Re:ZERO − Starting Life in Another World is scheduled to air in 2026. A new key visual and character have been revealed, with Fairouz Ai joining the cast as Shaula — a mysterious figure with scorpion-like traits who guards the Pleiades Watchtower. The season will focus on Subaru’s quest to save Rem, Crusch, and Julius by venturing into the deadly Augria Sand Dunes.
