“Mobile Suit Gundam Wing” 30th Anniversary Visual

Details have been announced for the “Mobile Suit Gundam Wing 30th Anniversary Dinner Show – Operation Reunion,” to be held at The Prince Park Tower Tokyo Ballroom on December 27th.
“Mobile Suit Gundam Wing,” which aired in 1995, is the second installment of the “Gundam Alternative Series,” which kicked off the previous year with “Mobile Fighter G Gundam.” In the year After Colony 195, some colony forces protesting the oppressive rule of the Earth Sphere Unified Union launch “Operation Meteor,” sending five high-performance mobile suits, “Gundam,” and their pilots to Earth. The five Gundam pilots, Heero Yuy (voiced by Hikaru Midorikawa), Duo Maxwell (voiced by Toshihiko Seki), Trowa Barton (voiced by Shigeru Nakahara), Quatre Labarba Winner (Ai Orikasa), and Zhang Wufei (voiced by Ryuzo Ishino), learn of each other’s existence while attacking the Alliance. They pursue peace, sometimes acting independently and sometimes cooperating. A three-episode sequel, “Mobile Suit Gundam Wing: Endless Waltz,” was produced in 1997, and a theatrical edit of that was released in 1998. Currently, various projects are being developed as part of the 30th anniversary project, including the release of the commemorative video “Mobile Suit Gundam Wing: Operation 30th.”
Midorikawa, Seki, Nakahara, Orikasa, and Ishino will be attending the series’ first-ever dinner show, “Operation Reunion.” For the first time in the series’ history, all five main cast members will perform live voice recordings of famous scenes, participate in a talk show, and read a new script exclusive to this performance. In addition, a special dinner menu inspired by the work will be served, and special benefits will also be distributed.
Ticket prices are 55,000 yen for SS seats, 49,500 yen for S seats, 44,000 yen for A seats, and 38,500 yen for B seats. Advance lottery entries are being accepted until August 24th for premium members of the “Gundam Fan Club,” and on the official website until September 7th.
