“Love Live!” new project “Ikizu Live! LOVELIVE! BLUEBIRD” launched, first single to be released

A new project in the “Love Live!” series, Ikizu Live! LOVELIVE! BLUEBIRD, has officially launched following the teaser movie released in April. Along with the announcement, the promotional video, character profiles, and cast information have been unveiled. The release of the first single, “What is my LIFE?” by the unit Ikizu-raibu!, has also been confirmed.

Ikizu Live! LOVELIVE! BLUEBIRD is a fresh school idol project centered around Love Gakuin High School (nicknamed L High), an online school where students freely design their own curriculum. The story follows 10 high school girls from satellite campuses across Japan, who form the group Ikizu-raibu! to bring excitement to L High—a school without uniforms, classrooms, or even school grounds.

The project will primarily develop through platforms like X (formerly Twitter) and YouTube, with members posting content and releasing short dramas. In addition, the voice actors will appear live and hold events as the performance unit Ikizu-raibu!.

Takahashi Polka (CV: Ayasaki Honone)

Ayasaki Honone will voice Takahashi Polka, a first-year student in “Ikizu-raibu!” who loves taking naps and struggles with math.

Endo Rina will play Azabu Mai, a tech-savvy girl skilled in programming and DIY.

Miyano Seri will portray Goto Akira, a sports enthusiast.

Fujino Kokoro will voice Komagata Hanabi, who is talented in wearing kimonos and practicing calligraphy.

Seko Ria takes on the role of Chofu Noriko, a girl passionate about anime and manga.

Okumura Yuki plays Harumiya Yukuri, a ballet dancer with graceful poise.

Otomori Honoka will voice Yamada Midori, who enjoys spending time outdoors.

Suzunose Aoi portrays Sasaki Shion, a quiet girl who loves reading and building models, and is also skilled at playing the violin and piano.

Sakano Ai will voice Kanazawa Miracle, a second-year student aiming to become a confectioner.

Amasawa Akane plays Konohana Aurora, who is deeply knowledgeable about fashion and beauty.

Ikizu-ra-bu!’s first single, “What is my LIFE?”, will be released on July 30th.

The regular edition will be priced at 1,430 yen, while the first press limited edition, which includes an acrylic stand featuring the jacket illustration, will be available for 3,630 yen.

Additionally, the lyric video for the song will premiere at 8:00 PM on May 12th.
