[SJH (original author)] It feels like a dream to be able to announce the news that “Elexide” – which I have worked so hard on – is being made into an anime and will be broadcast and streamed. It is all thanks to all the readers who have loved and supported “Elexide”. Thank you so much. I hope that through the anime, more people will be able to enjoy the world of “Elexide” together with me.

Korean Sci-Fi Hit Heads to the Screen with Veteran Director Hiroshi Nishikori at the Helm
The announcement that Electric Seed, a popular Korean manga, will be adapted into an anime in 2026 signals a growing trend of cross-border collaboration in the anime industry. With Hiroshi Nishikori—known for directing A Certain Magical Index—leading the project, expectations are high for a compelling and dynamic adaptation. The choice of Dandelion Animation Studio, a relatively young but ambitious studio, also reflects a desire to bring a fresh visual style to this sci-fi tale. As Korean webtoons and manhwa gain international traction, this project may be a key milestone in further blending Korean storytelling with Japanese animation craftsmanship.
