Singer-songwriter Mega Shinnosuke will perform the opening theme song for “Hiroshi Nohara’s Lunch Style,” a TV anime adaptation of the official “Crayon Shin-chan” spin-off manga. A promotional video has been released. Morikawa Toshiyuki, who plays Hiroshi Nohara, not only provides the character voice but also the narration, making for a “Morikawa Toshiyuki-filled” promotional video.
The original manga by Yoichi Tsukahara, currently serialized on “MangaCrayonShinchan.com,” has a cumulative circulation of 800,000 copies (print and digital), and has a cumulative pageview count of over 4.4 million on “MangaCrayonShinchan.com” in 2024. The story follows Hiroshi, the Nohara family’s father, who works as a salaryman for his family, as he carefully selects lunch as a brief respite from his busy days, despite his limited pocket money and time. The latest volume, 14, was released on September 11th.
The opening theme song, “Gohan Tabe Yo,” is sung by Mega shinnosuke, a huge Crayon Shin-chan fan. It is a new song written specifically for the series.
The promotional video using “Gohan Tabe Yo” features the first preview of animated footage. Along with narration by Morikawa, who plays Hiroshi, the video includes a variety of delicious-looking dishes and Hiroshi’s excited expression. It also offers a glimpse of popular episodes from the original work, such as “Kushikatsu Style,” known for the line, “It’s like we’re at a theme park,” and “Pancake Style,” in which Hiroshi transforms into a girl.

The broadcast schedule has also been announced. The show will begin airing on BS Asahi at 11:00 PM on October 3rd. Each episode will be 30 minutes long and will consist of two episodes.

A message to those looking forward to the broadcast: I can’t believe it, Shinnosuke! The theme song is by me! Thank you! When I was little, my classmates would tease me about being “Crayon Shin-chan,” but now I’m actually involved in the Crayon Shin-chan series. You never know what’s in store for you in life. A peaceful, heartwarming story! I’m looking forward to the broadcast! Everyone experiences so many difficult things in their daily lives! In the midst of a hectic life, I want you to take a breather and eat some delicious food, and feel like “Let’s do this!” Just as the lyrics say, “Let’s take it easy,” this song is about eating something, gaining energy, and wanting to live even more!
