“Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba,” a manga by Koyoharu Gotouge, is a battle action series that was serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump (Shueisha) from 2016 to 2020. The series follows Tanjiro Kamado (voiced by Natsuki Hanae), a young boy whose sister was turned into a demon, as he joins the Demon Slayer Corps and throws himself into the fight against demons led by Muzan Kibutsuji (voiced by Toshihiko Seki). The first season of the anime, “Tanjiro Kamado: The Unwavering Resolve Arc,” aired in 2019, and by 2024, the series had been expanded to include “Infinity Train Arc,” “Red Light District Arc,” “Swordsmith Village Arc,” and “Hashira Training Arc.” The “Infinity Castle Arc” is a three-part animated film depicting the final battle that unfolds at the demon’s base, “Infinity Castle.” “Chapter 1: Akaza Returns,” which opened on July 18, attracted 18,272,941 viewers and grossed ¥25,782,656,600. It surpassed “Frozen” (¥25.5 billion) to become the fourth-highest-grossing film of all time in Japan.
