Synopsis

Sugimoto and Asi(ri)pa’s journey reaches its climax!! The final chapter of the survival competition for the gold stolen from the Ainu is upon us!!! After returning from Karafuto, Sugimoto Saichi and Asi(ri)pa resume their journey to find the gold with Shiraishi Yoshitake. During the journey, they encounter an escaped prisoner, the pirate Fusataro, and then head to Sapporo to follow the footsteps of their new target, the escaped prisoner Uechi Keiji. However, in addition to the scouts from the 7th Division consisting of Corporal Usami and Sergeant Major Kikuta, Hijikata Toshizo’s gang is already searching for another escaped prisoner who committed a series of murders of prostitutes. A tense situation soon arises between Sugimoto and Hijikata, but the two decide to cooperate in order to avoid the gold falling into the hands of the 7th Division. They get information that the next site of the serial murders is a Sapporo beer factory, and put their ambush operation into action. However, Usami and his friends, as well as Kamiezhi, show up, and the situation becomes extremely confusing!
