Record-Breaking Box Office Performance Continues
“Detective Conan: Afterimage of One Eye” has officially overtaken “Black Iron Fish Shadow” with a cumulative box office total of 13.9 billion yen, marking a new high in the franchise’s history. This achievement not only reflects the unshakable popularity of the Conan series but also showcases the successful formula of combining emotional storytelling with high-stakes mystery. The momentum suggests that this film could challenge the 15-billion-yen milestone, a feat previously thought unattainable for anime films outside of mega-hits like Demon Slayer. With loyal fans and newcomers alike flocking to theaters, “Afterimage of One Eye” might redefine the ceiling for detective anime films.
