The original work by Suzuki Yuto, which has been serialized in “Weekly Shonen Jump” (published by Shueisha) since 2020, is a popular battle action manga that has sold over 12 million copies worldwide. Taro Sakamoto (CV: Sugita Tomokazu), once feared as a legendary assassin, fights off assassins who approach one after another in order to protect his peaceful daily life with his beloved family. The first season of the TV anime aired from January to March this year. It depicts Sakamoto and his friends banding together to defeat the assassins sent by the mysterious person “✕ (Slur)” one after another.

The ending theme song has been decided to be “Dandelion,” a new song by rock band “go!go!vanillas.” The second main PV, which uses the song, starts with a tense scene in which ✕ (slur) says to Sakamoto, “It’s been a while, Sakamoto-kun.” Characters deeply involved in the story of the second season, such as Raku (Uchiyama Koki), Mafuyu, Akira, and Kyo, appear one after another, and we get a glimpse of Sakamoto and Rion’s past. Also included is Asakura Shin (Shimazaki Nobunaga) resolving to “stop running away with words like ‘admiration'” and Sakamoto trying to fight back.

[Yamashita Daiki (role of Seiba Mafuyu)]

He’s so laid-back that there’s a huge difference in attitude between him and the other characters, so sometimes you’ll wonder, “What?” He speaks at his own pace, to the point that you’ll wonder if he’s in the same world as me. I think that’s one of his charms, so please look forward to seeing him in action soon! Even though he’s only 14, he’s a talented person, so you can feel the difference from his laid-back, laid-back personality!
[M.A.O (Akao Akira)]

My name is M.A.O and I will be playing the role of Akao Akira. Normally a timid and reserved character, Sho suddenly changes and the bold and cool expression he shows is very cool and impressive. He struggles to think about what he can do for his friends, and his surprisingly laid-back and playful side can be seen in his monologues. I think he is a character with a lot of charm, so I hope you will pay attention to him. Thank you very much!
[Hino Satoshi (Kyo)]

I’m Hino Satoshi, and I’ll be playing the role of Kyo, who will appear in the second season of the TV anime “SAKAMOTO DAYS.” Kyo is a very mysterious, strong, and interesting character, so I really enjoyed recording the character with all my heart and soul! I hope you’ll look forward to Kyo’s appearance. Thank you.
[Noto Mamiko (role of Akao Rion)]

This is a type of character that I don’t often have the opportunity to play, so I tried out a variety of approaches during recording. I felt like I was getting closer to Rion through trial and error… I would like to continue to carefully incorporate Rion into myself. Please enjoy the second season as well! Thank you.
[go!go!vanillas (ending theme song)]

“Shonen Jump” is the bible that has taught me how to live life from my childhood to the present. In Jump, there are exciting battle scenes, unique characters and words that really hit home. I am very grateful to Suzuki Yuto-sensei for preserving the greatness of the old school while smashing it with innovation. In the midst of all this, as a fan who loves this work, I was really happy to have this opportunity. The ending theme “Dandelion” was created not with the action of Sakamoto as a killer, but with an eye on the peace and price of Shizuka who returns home after the fight. I’m looking forward to the second season because my favorite “ORDER” is amazing. Please listen to it a lot.
