“White Mage Expelled from Hero’s Party: New Anime Adaptation Announced”

“White Mage Expelled from the Hero Party, Picked Up by an S-Rank Adventurer” to start airing in July, starring Gakuto Kajiwara, Rina Hidaka and others

The TV anime “The White Mage Expelled from the Hero’s Party is Picked Up by an S-Rank Adventurer ~This White Mage is Out of the Ordinary~” will start airing in July, and it has been announced that Kajiwara Gakuto, Hidaka Rina, Shiraishi Haruka, Hirose Daisuke, and Umehara Yuichiro will appear. The teaser PV and key visual have been released.

Many stills from the teaser PV have also been released.

The original work by Suigetsu Kyo is a fantasy novel (published by Futabasha) that originated on the novel submission site “Let’s Become a Novelist”. The story follows Lloyd, a white mage who was expelled from the hero’s party due to his lack of ability, being picked up by an S-rank adventurer party and making a comeback with his new companions. Seven volumes have already been published, and the comic version is currently being serialized in “Gaugau Monster +” and elsewhere.
Kajiwara will play the role of Lloyd, who thinks he is normal, but after being taught by his great master Merlin, he has actually become an extraordinary user of support magic. Hidaka plays Yui, an S-rank female adventurer and swordsman who meets Lloyd by chance and invites him into her party. She has a stronger desire than most to help people. Shiraishi plays Silica, who is shy and loves magic. Hirose plays Cross, a somewhat timid archer. Umehara plays Dagas, who acts as the party’s guard.

The teaser PV includes a scene where Lloyd, who was expelled from the hero’s party, meets Yui and other S-rank adventurers. The key visual shows Lloyd and his S-rank adventurer party friends gathered together against the backdrop of a fantastical cityscape.
