The prologue “Kasamatsu Arc” of the currently airing TV anime Uma Musume Cinderella Gray concluded with episode 6, titled “Monster,” broadcast on May 11. It has been announced that the new chapter, the “Central Transfer Arc,” will begin with episode 7, “Training Center Academy,” airing on May 18.
Along with this announcement, a new character, Dicta Striker, will be introduced and voiced by Yumiri Hanamori. Additionally, new visuals for the anime’s first season have been unveiled.
Originally serialized in Weekly Young Jump (published by Shueisha), Uma Musume Cinderella Gray is a manga based on the multimedia franchise Uma Musume Pretty Derby, which features anthropomorphized racehorse girls competing on the track. The series follows Oguri Cap (voiced by Tomohiro Takayanagi), a determined Uma Musume from a remote training academy who begins her journey to greatness. The anime began airing on April 6 and has surpassed 8 million copies in print.

Dicta Striker, voiced by Yumiri Hanamori, is an Uma Musume who becomes Oguri Cap’s classmate at Training Center Academy. She is a talented racehorse girl regarded as the ace of her class. While she may appear aggressive at first, she is actually caring and sincere, eager to give her all in competition and win with integrity.
Several other new Uma Musume will also make their debut as classmates in the new arc. Ayumi Hihara will voice Yaeno Muteki, a stoic martial artist; Ruriko Noguchi plays Sakura Chiyonooh, a straightforward and hardworking girl; Saya Aizawa voices Mejiro Ardan, a noble and refined young lady raised in a sheltered environment; and Kana Yuki plays Super Creek, a warm-hearted and gentle Uma Musume. Except for Dicta Striker, all of these characters have appeared in previous game or media entries in the Uma Musume franchise.
A new character PV titled “Rivals in the Center,” featuring voice-acted introductions of each character, has also been released.

The new visual for the first season features Oguri Cap running alongside her classmates, the Uma Musume. In the background, the silhouette of Tamamo Cross (voiced by Naomi Ozora), said to be the strongest active horse, looms large, hinting at future developments.
In celebration of the new chapter, the Uma Musume Pretty Derby game management team also released a supportive illustration. The artwork shows Bernolight (voiced by Momoko Seto) and others blushing while looking at a two-shot image of Oguri Cap and Fujimasa March (voiced by Mariya Ise), creating a charming and heartwarming scene for fans.
