Episode 5 of the anime Please Wear It, Takamine-san began streaming on April 30.

In this episode titled “I Want You to Meow Meow Meow,” classmate Takashi Shirota (voiced by Daisuke Kasuya) visits Takamine’s home to help her study. Being alone together, Takamine’s boldness reaches a new level.
Though she originally wanted to show off her pet cat, it had gone outside. So instead, she says, “I think he’ll come back soon… I guess I’ll be your cat until then.” Wearing black cat ears, she lies on the bed, purring in a sweet voice, “I’m bored, meow…” She then leans closer and teases Shirota, saying, “Don’t you want to pay attention to me, meow? Can’t you hear me, meow?” Flustered, Shirota looks away as she adds with a sidelong glance, “You’re so insensitive, even though I’m being so obvious… meow.”
Online reactions flooded in, with comments like “Takamine-san became a cat!”, “She looks adorable with cat ears,” and “Cat-eared Takamine is dangerously charming!”
The anime Please Wear It, Takamine-san is based on the romantic comedy manga by Yuichi Hiiragi, serialized in Monthly Gangan Joker (Square Enix). The story follows student council president Takamine, who can “reset time” by removing her underwear, and Shirota, a regular high school boy who supports her power.
