CanCam Teams Up with Detective Conan for June Issue Featuring Mizuki Yamashita
The regular edition of CanCam magazine’s June issue, released on April 23, is a special collaboration with the hit anime Detective Conan.
This tie-up was made possible as part of a “Support & Success Project” for Detective Conan: The Million-Dollar Pentagram, in which CanCam exclusive model Mizuki Yamashita makes her voice acting debut. The feature article delves into behind-the-scenes stories from Yamashita’s first voice acting experience, highlights of the film, and a special “Conan and Mizuki’s Relationship” corner, where she shares how she first encountered the Conan series, her favorite characters, and her excitement about the movie. The feature also includes character profiles of the “cool guys” like Kogoro Mouri and members of the Nagano Prefectural Police who play active roles in the movie.
As a bonus, the magazine includes a “Conan x Mizuki Yamashita CanCam Cover-Style Photo Card.” On the front, Yamashita wears a detective outfit and recreates a CanCam-style cover with Conan. The back side features Conan and the Nagano Police in a movie-poster layout. The photo card is B8 size, and a separate B7 “Bonus Card” is also included, showcasing Yamashita mimicking Conan’s signature expressions and poses.
