It has been announced that as an admission bonus for the animated film “AS ONE,” fans will receive three original illustration cards (all in three varieties) by character designer Yoshiyuki Sadamoto.
The film is a full-length sci-fi work inspired by the world of the arcade game “Paradox of Stars and Wings,” which ran from 2018 to 2021, and features a completely original story. Minato You (CV: Shiraiwa Ruki, “JO1”), a high school student on modern-day Earth who aspires to be a musician, meets Raco Alice Leroy (Shiraishi Haruka), a robot mechanic who lives on the space cruiser planet Meguriboshi, across dimensions in her consciousness after she falls into a coma following an accident. The two, now one, become one and become embroiled in a battle over energy and a conspiracy that threatens the fate of the planet, but they must face their destiny together.
Mini, autographed illustration cards will be distributed on a weekly basis; the first in the opening week of the film’s release will feature the main character You, the second Raco, and the third Vigo Xenakis (Takeuchi Shunsuke), captain of the Pulguard squad of the V-Red Sei Kingdom.
“AS ONE” will be released in theaters nationwide from August 22nd.
