The official trailer and main visual for the movie “Zombie Land Saga: Yumegin ga Paradise,” which will be released nationwide from October 24th, have been released.
The film is the latest in the original anime “Zombie Land Saga” series, which began in 2018. In the series, seven “legendary” girls, including Sakura Minamoto (CV: Kaede Hondo), who are resurrected from the brink of death as zombies, form a local idol group “Franchouchou” in Saga Prefecture and overcome various difficulties to make progress. The first season of the TV anime was broadcast in 2018, and the second season “Zombie Land Saga Revenge” was broadcast in 2021.
In this trailer, as the members of “Franchouchou,” who have been appointed as ambassadors for the Saga Expo, prepare for the SAGA Arena Live, a giant spaceship suddenly appears and begins its invasion of Saga Prefecture. The video depicts the awakening of “The Legendary Yamada Tae,” the only member who had not yet awakened to her true self, as she leaves “Franchouchou” and heads alone into enemy territory to stop the invasion. The audio of “Franchouchou”‘s new song “Longing for the Blinking Universe (Sora)” is also unveiled for the first time.

“Yumegin ga Paradise” Brings Legendary Zombie Yamada Tae Back Into Action
The release of the new trailer and main visual for Zombie Land Saga: Yumegin ga Paradise has stirred excitement among fans, especially with the focus on the long-silent legend, Yamada Tae. Often referred to as the “Legendary Tae” due to her wild antics and zombie-like behavior, Tae’s awakening may signal a deeper development in her character arc that fans have been waiting for since Season 1.
The decision to spotlight Tae in this new installment suggests a shift in narrative tone — potentially more dramatic or emotionally resonant than before. It also raises questions: What triggered her awakening? Will she finally speak? Is her identity more complex than previously thought? These mysteries offer fresh intrigue while preserving the show’s unique blend of absurdity and heart.
By continuing to innovate while honoring the quirky charm that made the series a cult hit, Yumegin ga Paradise is shaping up to be a revival worth watching closely.
