The story follows Miyo Saimori, a girl born into a prestigious family with supernatural abilities. However, she grows up oppressed and without awakening any powers of her own. She enters into an arranged marriage with Kiyoka Kudou, a powerful military officer known for being cold and ruthless. Together, they face many hardships and gradually begin to open their hearts to one another. The first season aired in 2023.

The original author, Akumi Aoki, shared the following message:

[Akumi Aoki (Original Author)]
“Thank you so much to everyone who watched the second season of My Happy Marriage until the very end! It was a season full of twists and turns, with developments that made it impossible to look away. Just like the first season, it felt like it flew by in the blink of an eye.

But… did you notice? The title My Happy Marriage hasn’t fully come to fruition yet. In other words, the story isn’t over! I’m truly grateful that we’ll get to see what happens next, and I’m looking forward to it just as much as all of you.

Once again, thank you to everyone involved in the production, to all the viewers, and to everyone who has shown love and support for the series!”
