The light novel “Material Collector’s Travels in Another World” has been decided to be made into a TV anime. The director is Kodaka Yoshinori, the series composition is Ichikawa Jyuokuemon, the character design is Watanabe Mayumi, and the production is Genco. Tatsunoko Productions and SynergySP will jointly produce the animation.
The work won both the Grand Prize and the Reader’s Award at the 9th Alphapolis Fantasy Novel Awards, and is a popular work with a total of over 1.73 million copies in circulation (including digital versions). The story depicts Takeru Jingu, an office worker who is reincarnated into a world of swords and magic, traveling the world using his exploration abilities, which allow him to find valuable things.
