Tsuburaya Productions announced the implementation of the “Ultraman Series 60th Anniversary Project” on July 10th, “Ultraman Day,” the day Ultraman first appeared on television. The project’s main visual, anniversary logo, core message, and promotional video were also unveiled.

“Ultraman,” which began broadcasting on July 10th, 1966, will reach a historic milestone of its 60th anniversary in 2026. To celebrate this, the project was launched. Over the course of about two and a half years from July, the project will convey the appeal of Ultraman to long-time fans as well as those who have never encountered it before, through the depth and universal themes of each story in the series.

During the project period, the project will create opportunities for people to feel the presence of Ultraman at all points of contact, including new TV series commemorating the 60th anniversary, live stages, digital content that allows you to immerse yourself in the world of Ultraman at any time, and products and goods that will brighten up your daily life, with the aim of Ultraman continuing to be loved by people of all generations and borders.

The core message of the project, “with U,” contains two meanings: “together with you” and “together with Ultraman.” Ultraman has always been and will continue to be your emotional support at all times, and will pave the way to the future together with you. It also contains the hope that people’s daily lives will be filled with more brilliance.

The 60th anniversary logo reflects the three universal messages that the series has continued to convey: “courage” to face difficulties, “hope” to believe in a better future, and “compassion” to live together with others. The three stars shining in the center are symbols of “courage, hope, and compassion,” and the silhouette of Ultraman taking off from the number “60” is a visual that evokes the image of him flying into a hopeful future.

Smartphone app game “Ultraman Puzzle Schwatch!!”

The all-new smartphone app game “Ultraman Puzzle Schwatch!!” features Ultra Heroes and Ultra Monsters from the Showa to Reiwa eras. It will be simultaneously distributed not only in Japan but also overseas (excluding mainland China and EU member states).

In addition, the official Ultraman YouTube channel will be streaming carefully selected episodes from nostalgic classics to the latest works for a limited time starting in August 2025 (each episode will be available for two weeks only).
