I’ve been blessed to have been involved in various “Digimon” projects. This time, I’ll be playing a Digimon! Many of the Digimon are incredibly innocent, and watching them has always made me feel adored and touched my heart. “Digimon Adventure” is my favorite and most rewatched series of all time. Now that I’ve been chosen to play Makoto Kuonji in the “Digimon” series, I’ve always admired the chosen children, but had given up on them as an adult. The excitement, thrills, and sparkle of those early days have come back to me…!! Together with Makoto, I’ll give my all to ensure that “DIGIMON BEATBREAK” is loved by many people!!

It’s been about 25 years since I was engrossed in watching “Digimon Adventure” back then. I never thought I’d be appearing in a TV series that’s still ongoing… I want to show off to my younger self! I’ll be remembering the excitement I felt back then. I’ll be feeling the bonds I formed with my friends and partners once again. I’ll cherish the role of Kyo as I play it! I hope you’ll support me!

I’m Daiki Hamano, the voice of Murasamemon. It was June 1997. As a fourth-grader, I grabbed my pocket money and met up with my friends at the local toy store, “Red Shoes.” We competed, pressing the little buttons on the digital monsters we’d bought. Nearly 30 years later… I’m thrilled to have been given this dreamlike opportunity to voice a Digimon. I’ll use this feeling as fuel to continue evolving and devote my energy to creating Digimon that will captivate countless people.

A New Evolution of the Digital World Begins

With its fresh voice cast including Tomoyo Kurosawa and Mutsumi Tamura, “DIGIMON BEATBREAK” promises a bold new take on the long-running Digimon franchise. The title hints at a possible musical or rhythmic theme, which could signify a stylistic shift in storytelling. As fans have seen various tonal changes over the decades—from adventure to dark drama to slice-of-life—this installment may fuse action with new genres, aiming to resonate with both longtime followers and a younger audience.
