A special trailer remake of the TV anime series “Yoroiden Samurai Troopers,” which will begin airing in January 2026 as the official sequel to “Yoroiden Samurai Troopers,” has been released. The initials of the cast members have also been revealed.

Produced by Sunrise, known for Mobile Suit Gundam and Armored Trooper Votoms, “Yoroiden Samurai Troopers” is an original anime television series that aired from 1988 to 1989. It follows five boys clad in “Yoroi Gear” (armored armor) as they are led by fate to battle the “Yoja,” a strange army led by the resurrected demon emperor Arago. The exploits of the beautiful young men who make up the main characters proved popular, and even after the TV series ended, three original animations were produced: “Yoroiden Samurai Troopers Gaiden” in 1989, “Yoroiden Samurai Troopers: Legend of the Bright Emperor” from 1989 to 1990, and “Yoroiden Samurai Troopers: Message” in 1991. “Yoroiden Samurai Troopers” is set in Shinjuku 38 years after the final battle depicted in the previous series.

The “Super Special Video Remake” includes a scene of the main character, Gai (voiced by Ishibashi Hiyori), arming himself with the “Scorching Heat” Armor Gear. Five Samurai Troopers fighting in the “Water Curtain,” “Wildness,” “Blue Sky,” and “Flash” Armor Gear were also revealed. The faces of all characters except Gai are not shown, and their full appearances have not been revealed, but silhouettes of each character have been released separately.

The “Super Special Video Remake” also includes the voices of the five men yelling when armed. The full names of the cast members have not been revealed, but it has been revealed that A.M. will play Suiren, S.T. will play Koya, J.E. will play Sokyu, and K.K. will play Senkou.
