Visuals for “My Student Arc,” a story set in the eighth episode of the currently airing TV anime “Rascal Does Not Dream of Santa Claus,” have been released. The characters are depicted with the words, “I promise you won’t cure my adolescent syndrome.”
In episode 8, “Secrets and Promises,” which will air on August 23rd, Sakuta reads a message from “Sakuta in another possible world” that reads, “Find Kirishima Touko. Mai is in danger,” and attempts to contact a miniskirt Santa claiming to be Kirishima Touko. A few days later, the miniskirt Santa calls, saying she’s willing to meet on December 2nd. Sakuta cancels his birthday date with Mai and meets Touko in person.
Based on the novel by Kamoshida Hajime, the anime series “Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai” depicts the interactions between protagonist Sakuta Azusagawa and girls who have developed adolescent syndrome. The TV anime “Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai” aired in 2018, followed by the theatrical versions “Rascal Does Not Dream of a Dreaming Girl” in June 2019 and “Rascal Does Not Dream of an Outing Sister” in June 2023. The high school arc concluded with “Rascal Does Not Dream of a Schoolbag Girl” in December 2023.
“Rascal Does Not Dream of Santa Claus” is the “college student arc,” in which Sakuta, now a university student, faces new worries and mysterious phenomena amid his new relationships.
