Details for Aikatsu! Memorial Stage, a re-edited version of popular episodes from the Aikatsu! TV anime featuring bonus footage, have been officially announced. Aikatsu! Memorial Stage: Shining Unit Cup, which focuses on the “Unit Cup Edition” from the third season, will be screened in theaters starting June 20. Additionally, Aikatsu Restaurant, a special segment featuring a play-within-a-play starring characters from Akari Ozora’s generation, will also be shown.
The Aikatsu! series follows girls striving to become top idols through idol activities known as “Aikatsu!” The franchise has expanded across multiple series—Aikatsu!, Aikatsu Stars!, Aikatsu Friends!, Aikatsu on Parade!, and Aikatsu Planet!—and has grown into a cross-media phenomenon including anime, Data Carddass arcade games, toys, apparel, merchandise, and live performances.

In Aikatsu! Memorial Stage: Shining Unit Cup, Starlight Academy Junior High School has been chosen to participate in the prestigious Unit Cup. With eight excited units taking the stage, the curtain finally rises on this highly anticipated competition. The newly released key visual features each unit making a bold “special appeal” to showcase their charm.
Aikatsu! Memorial Stage: Shining Unit Cup will be screened for a limited three-week run starting June 20. It is currently scheduled to be shown in 43 theaters across Japan, with the list of participating theaters now available on the official website.
