“Yamato Forever REBEL 3199” is the latest installment in the Space Battleship Yamato reboot series, which began with Yamato 2199 in 2012. This new story reimagines the 1980 animated film Be Forever Yamato and is told across six chapters. Set in the year 2207, Earth faces a new threat from the mysterious force known as Desarium—an enemy once encountered by the Yamato. As their shocking true identities are revealed, the reborn Space Battleship Yamato must rise again to confront this unprecedented crisis.

The teaser video features highlight scenes from the upcoming film. The teaser visual is an original illustration by Kia Asamiya, who is responsible for the image concept art.

In addition to select theaters, Mubichike cards featuring a poster with the teaser visual are now available through Major and MOVIE WALKER STORE. Starting April 11, Mubichike Online tickets will also go on sale, which include a digital Mubichike card featuring the teaser visual along with a viewing record. Both ticket types are priced at 1,900 yen.
