In response to the 10th anniversary of the anime adaptation of “Bungo Stray Dogs” in April 2026, it has been decided that a “Pre-10th Anniversary Celebration Project” will be held every month for one year starting this April.
The original work by Kafka Asagiri (original author) and Harukawa 35 (manga) is a popular battle action manga that has sold over 16 million copies in total and is currently being serialized in “Young Ace” (published by KADOKAWA). The characters, who have the same names as real-life authors such as Atsushi Nakajima, Osamu Dazai, and Ryunosuke Akutagawa, clash using special abilities that are based on their works. The TV anime, which is animated by Bones, was broadcast in 2016 for the first and second seasons, 2019 for the third season, and 2023 for the fourth and fifth seasons. In 2018, the animated film “Bungo Stray Dogs: Dead Apple” was also released.
