It has been decided that the third season of the TV anime Sound! Euphonium, the movie version of Sound! Euphonium, will be produced, and it has been announced that it will be screened in 2026. A teaser visual and a promotional video for the movie have also been released.
The Sound! Euphonium anime series produced by Kyoto Animation is based on a novel by Ayano Takeda, and is a youth story depicting the struggles of the protagonist, Kumiko Oumae, and the members of the Kitauji High School Brass Band. Starting with the first season of the TV anime broadcast in 2015, three seasons of the TV anime, five movies, special editions, and spin-off movies have been produced, and this year marks the 10th anniversary of the series. The third season of the TV anime, Sound! Euphonium 3, was broadcast from April to June last year.
