"BLACK TORCH" TV anime adaptation confirmed

“BLACK TORCH”, a ninja action game starring a boy who can talk to animals, will be made into a TV anime, produced by 100studio

It has been decided that the manga “BLACK TORCH,” which was serialized in Shueisha’s “Jump SQ.” and “Shonen Jump+,” will be made into a TV anime. A teaser visual and teaser PV have also been released.

The main staff has also been announced, with director Umabiki Kei (ClassicaLoid Season 2), character design by Suzuki Go, series composition and scriptwriting by Ichikawa Jyuokuemon, and music by Yamada Yutaka. 100studio, the studio behind This World is Too Imperfect, will be in charge of animation production.

The protagonist of this work is a high school student, Jiro Agatsuma, who was raised by his grandfather as a descendant of a ninja and can talk to animals. In the forest, Jiro meets a wounded black cat, Rahu, whose true identity is a legendary monster called the “Black Evil Star.” After meeting Rahu, Jiro becomes embroiled in a battle over the monster.
