“Girls Band Cry” Exhibition to be held at Ikebukuro Sunshine City in April, including talk show with cast and production staff

The first exhibition of the TV anime “Girls Band Cry”, “Girls Band Cry Exhibition”, will be held from April 9th to 20th at Exhibition Hall A on the 4th floor of Sunshine City World Import Mart Building in Ikebukuro, Tokyo (April 9th, 12th, 13th, 19th, and 20th are designated dates and times).
In addition to exhibits that explore the appeal of the characters and story of “Girls Band Cry”, the exhibition will also display setting materials and drawing videos of the key visuals drawn by character designer Teshima Nari. There will also be a photo spot that recreates famous scenes from the work.
From April 15th to 17th, there will also be talk shows with the cast and production team. A ticket with a talk show is required to participate. “Tickets with an original stainless steel board for the Girls Band Cry Exhibition” and “Tickets with a talk show” will be sold by lottery, and applications for the lottery will begin on January 29th.
“Girls Band Cry,” which aired from April to June last year, is an original work created, planned, and produced by Toei Animation. A girl who dropped out of high school and moved to Tokyo from Kumamoto forms a five-member band called “Togenashi Togeari” with the former leader of her favorite girl band, and the story depicts her struggling to pursue her own music while rebelling against the world. A compilation film will be produced in two parts.
