Synopsis
The last summer. Friends. And monsters. In the summer of 1989, sixth graders Boko, Joe, and Junichi were on their last summer vacation as elementary school students. Each of them had vague fears about their future. Then Brody, the son of the commander of the US military in Japan, appeared before the three. Brody stole the cash the three had saved up. Angered, Boko and the others came up with a plan to get the money back. Just as they were about to carry out the plan, a crisis struck the town. The monster Gyaos suddenly attacked Tokyo. The four stood frozen in the town that had been turned into ruins by Gyaos. Just as Gyaos set its sights on them, a giant monster appeared. Its name was Gamera. This was the beginning of the four’s “Monster Summer.” Monsters appeared one after another. Gamera fought despite being injured. And the boys witnessed a legend. Music
