The PV for “LUPIN THE IIIRD Zenigata and the Two Lupins,” a new anime in the “Lupin III” series starring Inspector Zenigata, has been released. It has also been revealed that Kenyu Horiuchi will play a fake Lupin who looks just like Lupin III.

“LUPIN THE IIIRD Zenigata and the Two Lupins” is the prequel to “LUPIN THE IIIRD THE MOVIE Immortal Bloodline” (released June 27th), the first 2D animated film in the “Lupin III” series in about 30 years. A terrorist bomb attack occurs at the airport in Karavstok, a city in the frigid land of the Loviet Union. Karaskov of the Committee for National Security determines that Lupin III is the terrorist and a spy for the United States of Arka, but Inspector Zenigata of the Metropolitan Police Department’s Public Security Division has doubts. Meanwhile, the existence of “another Lupin” emerges, and Inspector Zenigata finds himself confronted by the mysterious fake Lupin.

The fake Lupin played by Horiuchi is the perpetrator of a ruthless and despicable bombing terrorist attack that mercilessly sacrifices the people. Horiuchi, who will be playing an important character in this work, expressed his joy at being in the role, saying, “I think this will be my masterpiece!”

The recently released PV begins with a scene of a terrorist bombing. Zenigata is angry and pursues the incident, saying, “Innocent citizens have been caught up in this terrorist bombing. This is unforgivable violence!” Meanwhile, the two Lupins meet, and the fake Lupin says to Lupin III, “Why do you steal?” Furthermore, words such as “Are you the real one?” and “What is your sense of justice?” appear, depicting the exchange between the two Lupins.

In addition, Prime Video will be streaming the “LUPIN THE IIIRD” series “Gravestone of Daisuke Jigen”, “Blood Spray of Goemon Ishikawa”, and “Fujiko Mine’s Lie” from June 27th. Also, “Lupin III: The Golden Legend of Babylon” will be released for the first time from June 6th, and “Lupin III: The Intrigue of the Fuuma Clan” will be released for the first time from June 13th.
