Creepy Nuts’ new song “Mirage” will add color to the work

The main PV for the TV anime “Yofukashi no Uta Season 2,” which will start on July 4th, has been released.
It has also been revealed that Creepy Nuts will be in charge of the opening theme for the series, following “Season 1.” The new song “Mirage” will add color to the work.

“Yofukashi no Uta” is based on a manga by Kotoyama. The story depicts Kou Yamori, a school dropout who is unable to sleep at night, trying to fall in love with Nazuna, a vampire, in order to have her turn him into a vampire. The “night between the two of them” accelerates without him understanding what love is. Meanwhile, the hand of detective Uguisu Anko, who is plotting to kill the vampire, closes in on them.

Season 1 depicts the night’s dry kindness and its role as a refuge for those who are saved there. In contrast, Season 2 depicts the night’s damp side and its role as a place to dump lingering attachments and regrets. It also depicts the adults struggling to come to terms with it. As someone who has been staying up all night for 20 years, I just can’t help but feel that this is something that doesn’t concern me…I know I have to live in the morning and day, and I should finally cut it off, but it just drags on…This song depicts the sordid relationship between myself and the night.
