The first airing dates for “Karaoke Ikou!” and “I’m Crazy About You.”, TV anime adaptations of Yama Wayama’s manga, have been announced. “Karaoke Ikou!” will begin airing on July 24th, and “I’m Crazy About You.” on August 21st.
“Karaoke Ikou!” follows the strange relationship that begins when the choir club’s captain, Satomi Oka (CV: Shun Horie), is asked by the yakuza, Kyoji Narita (CV: Daisuke Ono), to teach him how to sing in order to avoid becoming the “king of bad singing” at the gang’s karaoke competition.
“I’m Crazy About You.” is an omnibus work that depicts the daily lives of male high school students. The drama depicts the human drama of adolescence, featuring Ema Joji (voiced by Uchiyama Koki), who starts to be approached in strange ways by his eccentric classmate Hayashi Mira (voiced by Ono Kensho), and Metaka Yuichi (voiced by Ono Yuki), who feels depressed because Nikaido Akira (voiced by Okamoto Nobuhiko), a creepy character who is hated at school, sits behind him.
Broadcasts every Thursday at 10:30pm on TOKYO MX, 11:30pm on BS11, 1:45am on Kansai TV, 2am on Me-Tele, 1:59am on HBC Hokkaido Broadcasting, and 2am on TVQ Kyushu Broadcasting.
