The new TV anime in the “Rascal Does Not Dream of Santa Claus” series, “Rascal Does Not Dream of Santa Claus,” is set to air in July, and it has been revealed that Kohara Yoshimi and Iwami Manaka will appear. Kohara will play Himeji Sara, an excellent student at the cram school where the main character Sakuta works part-time as a tutor, and Iwami will play Mito Miori, a first-year student in the Faculty of International Commerce at the same university as Sakuta.

The anime series “Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai” is based on the novel by Kamoshida Hajime, and depicts the interactions between the protagonist Sakuta Azusagawa and girls who have developed adolescent syndrome. The TV anime “Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai” was broadcast in 2018, and the movie version “Rascal Does Not Dream of Dreaming Girls” was produced in 2019 and “Rascal Does Not Dream of Sister” in June 2023. The final work of the high school version, “Rascal Does Not Dream of Schoolbag Girls”, was released in December 2023.
This work, “Rascal Does Not Dream of Santa Claus”, is the “college student version”, and the mysterious story of the girls who are in a state of flux begins again. Sakuta, who went to college in Kanazawa-Hakkei with his girlfriend Sakurajima Mai, finds an out-of-season miniskirt Santa on campus and is told something familiar: “I’m surprised. You can see me.” The miniskirt Santa tells Sakuta that she is giving him the Puberty Syndrome as a gift, and tells him, “You know, my name is Kirishima Touko.”
