Hello, my name is Kureha. It has been decided that “Oni no Hanayome” will be made into an anime!
I would like to thank everyone who has supported and cooperated with me so far. This work, which started as a short story of about 20,000 characters, has been published as a book, made into a comic, and finally made into an anime, thanks to the support of many people. Thank you so much. I can’t help but feel excited when I think about what I imagined in my head being played out as a video. I’m happy to finally be able to tell everyone who supports Onihana. Please continue to support Oni no Hanayome.
[Jun Togashi (comic adaptation)]

A Japanese-style Cinderella Tale Comes to Life
The announcement of the “Oni no Hanayome” TV anime adaptation brings another light novel Cinderella story to the spotlight—this time with a supernatural twist. Set in a modern high school setting, the story blends traditional Japanese folklore with romantic drama. The main character, a seemingly ordinary girl, is thrust into a world where demons (oni) are real, and her destiny is far from normal. This adaptation could follow in the footsteps of similar fantasy-romance anime like Kamisama Kiss or Fruits Basket, appealing to fans of heartfelt transformation arcs and mysterious male leads. It will be interesting to see how the anime balances cultural elements with contemporary high school life.
