Haikyu!! “Garbage Dump Showdown” Art Exhibit

An exhibition celebrating the latest Haikyu!! film, “Haikyu!! The Movie: Battle at the Dump”, will be held at the Hankyu Umeda Main Store in Osaka starting April 23. Fans can relive the iconic match between Karasuno High School and Nekoma High School through original artwork, video footage, production materials, and photo spots that bring this legendary showdown to life.

Haikyu!! is a high school volleyball manga by Haruichi Furudate, serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump from 2012 to July 2020. The anime adaptation began airing in 2014 and has produced four seasons so far. In February 2024, a new film was released featuring one of the series’ most beloved matches: “The Third Round of the Spring High Tournament – Karasuno vs. Nekoma.”

The exhibition showcases highlights from Haikyu!! The Movie: Battle at the Dump, offering fans an exclusive experience. Visitors can enjoy life-size standees of both Karasuno and Nekoma players, along with a video exhibition zone featuring powerful scenes and original artwork from the iconic “Garbage Dump Showdown.”

Step into the player standee area featuring both Karasuno and Nekoma High School members, then walk through a recreated court leading to a powerful exhibition zone that revisits the legendary “Garbage Dump Showdown.”

In addition, exhibition-exclusive merchandise will be available, including 16 types of trading badges (600 yen each), cheering fans (900 yen), and sports towels (3,000 yen). As a bonus, ticket holders will receive one of eight random character clear cards as a special gift.

A special merchandise ticket (3,900 yen) includes a bonus keychain inspired by the strategy board featured in the film. This keychain consists of 20 detachable parts.

Please note that a ticket is required to enter the merchandise area. Entry details will be provided after visiting the exhibition.

The exhibition runs from April 23 to May 12, open daily from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM (closes at 5:00 PM on the final day).
